We need "green" people space without a lot of rules except to keep it safe, clean and natural.

Now I am mad at the person who made fun of the Army for putting pictures in Abrams tanks. Let me paint you a picture. 4 soldies are down in the tank taking enemy fire, you see your infantry buddies fighting or being blown up, you are angry, upset, looking for the source of enemy fire, communications are coming at you, two tourrets are moving at once, you've crapped in your pants, you have one split second to make a decision...and you're going to READ the signs. At this point your FCAT reading level is insignificant. Get real. The gunner has to load the missle then shut the door and get out of the way of the recoil in a split second, or die. I say pictures on the missile door are better option than written directions.

Colonel Curran thank you for your service and thank you for putting the facts straight.
Military is a good career and I am honored that my son is serving in the Army. He has done 2 tours of Iraq. He is an Abrams tanker. He also operates all those satalite and predator cameras and communicates with tanks and helicopters. He has money, benefits, physical fitness, pride and he can retire at the age of 38. To all those people who think the military is for dummies; what does your 20 year old kid do?

About auto workers' pay. Why do I pay less for a Sebring than a Camry? Sounds like the non-union workers need to be paid more money without the sticker price going up!

Is it true that West Terry and Old 41 is prime panther habitat? That means that panthers travel the Imperial River from Bonita Beach to Everglades Wonder Gardens, to the Flea Market and up the river to the Bonita Grand Fire Station and into the burnt wilderness. Do you think wild panthers are running by the caged panthers? Are panthers re-routing their corridors into the coyotee habitat in the Brooks. I live on the Imperial River in Old Bonita and I swear that one night I awoke with the hairs on my neck prickling and heard huge heavy soft paws running across my lawn at strides far beyond those of a dog. I heard it only once in the last 6 years.

Shovel ready projects. Obama keeps saying governors have shovel ready projects. I have never heard of these shovel ready projects. I would like Govenor Crist to name a few shovel ready projects in Lee and Collier. How long does it take to get the money from the Feds to the guys with the shovels?

Panthers need 200 square miles each, to exist. Do big cats hunt in little corridors? No...this plan is wrong. I think I would not invest in this area because panthers will eat my children and pets.

Good Grief. Let teachers do their jobs. Do you tell your doctor just how much of your intestine to remove? Leave it to the doctor. Leave grades to the teachers. Administrators shouldn't micromanage teachers. What's the difference between 50 and 0? Doing something half assed is failure, but doing nothing is even worse. We have too many administrators sitting around doing nothing useful. Lets cut their jobs by 50% or better yet to ZERO.

Bill Nelson talks real slow and simple. He says the obvious after the obvious has already been figured out. That is not leadership. It is pandering. Florida voters...LOOK for leaders. That means leaders have listened to the people, have solutions for problems and have changed laws. Change laws! Exactly what laws did Nelson sponsor? Exactly what Bill Nelson laws were signed by the US President? NOTHING nana na na hey hey hey goodbye.
