The BCHS band undoubtedly has talent. Each year they have a professionally choreographed routine with the potential to be amazing. And each year they are, without fail, featured by the newspaper.
Here is my issue. There are other bands in Collier County with the same amount of talent that seem to get little to no coverage during this time of the year. Take Golden Gate, a fledgling program that recieved an overall superior rating at district festival (possibly straight superior ratings?). Or Naples, who has recieved Superior ratings for over thirty years. How about sharing some of the press glory?
