These schools where the protest occurred look really nice, safe, and well maintained but that's just not good enough for these kids. There will always be something kids want to protest about. (If my memory serves me right I think there were protest by the students on a smaller scale when they changed to block scheduling.)

Gulf Coast Protested for the right reason and did not party just for the sake of getting out of class like palmetto. They Are the ones that shouldnt have protested especially when they could of supported the board meeting on the day they protested. So i believe their protest was just to follow gulf coast when they didnt need to.

Good Job Palmetto Ridge! Way to stand up for your education. I saw many bullitens via myspace and facebook with students spreading the word about it! Also, kudos to GCHS for doing the sitin the day before. Shows students working together for something they want!
